Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are federal recruiting authorities under the Ministry of Railways functioning across 21 regional zones. RRBs administer large-scale nationwide examinations including Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC), Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP), Junior Engineer (JE), and Group 'D' (Level 1).

2. Eligibility Criteria, Qualifications & Age Limits

RRB NTPC Undergraduate (Clerk/Typist): 12th pass; age 18 to 30 years. RRB NTPC Graduate (Station Master, Goods Train Manager): Bachelor's degree; age 18 to 33 years. RRB ALP: 10th plus ITI or Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Automobile Engineering.

Stage 1: 1st Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT-1 common screening). Stage 2: 2nd Stage CBT (CBT-2 post-level specific). Stage 3: Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) for Station Master / Typing Skill Test for Clerks. Stage 4: Document Verification and Medical Fitness.
