Full Form of ECIL

1. Official Mandate, Scope & Background

Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) is a Schedule 'A' public sector enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, established in 1967 at Hyderabad. It manufactures nuclear control systems, Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), and secure defence communication equipment.

2. Eligibility Criteria, Qualifications & Age Limits

Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET): First Class B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering with minimum 65% aggregate marks. Upper age limit: 25 years.

3. Examination Scheme & Selection Procedure

Valid GATE Score screening followed by Personal Interview, or Computer-Based Screening Test conducted by ECIL.

4. Core Syllabus & Key Subjects

Core electronics and embedded system design, microprocessors, digital signal processing, communication networks, control systems, and VLSI engineering.
