1. Official Mandate, Scope & Background

An Upper Division Clerk (UDC), also designated as Senior Secretariat Assistant (SSA), is a Group 'C' ministerial position in central government secretariats, attached offices, and statutory corporations (such as ESIC, EPFO).

2. Eligibility Criteria, Qualifications & Age Limits

Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university and working knowledge of computer data applications. Age Limit: 18 to 27 years.

3. Examination Scheme & Selection Procedure

Recruited through SSC CGL or departmental examinations consisting of Computer-Based Written Examination and Computer Skill Test (CST).

4. Core Syllabus & Key Subjects

General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension, and Computer Literacy.
