1. Official Mandate, Scope & Background

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is an all-India computerized entrance examination introduced under the National Education Policy (NEP) for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs across Central, State, Deemed, and Private universities in India, including DU, BHU, JNU, and AMU.

2. Eligibility Criteria, Qualifications & Age Limits

For CUET UG: Passed Class 12 or equivalent qualifying board examination with no age bar. Program-specific domain requirements depend on individual university eligibility ordinances.

3. Examination Scheme & Selection Procedure

Computer-Based Test (CBT) or Hybrid format across 13 Indian languages. Normalized scores and percentiles are provided to universities for centralized seat allocations (e.g. CSAS for Delhi University).
