The Food Corporation of India (FCI) is a statutory public sector corporation established under the Food Corporations Act 1964. It is responsible for safeguarding national food security through nationwide procurement, buffer stock storage, and inter-state movement of grains.
2. Eligibility Criteria, Qualifications & Age Limits
Assistant Grade-III (General/Depot): Graduate Degree in any discipline with computer proficiency. AG-III (Accounts): Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). AG-III (Technical): B.Sc in Agriculture/Botany/Zoology/Bio-Technology or B.Tech in Food Science. Age Limit: 18 to 27/28 years.
3. Examination Scheme & Selection Procedure
Phase-I: Online Preliminary Examination (English, Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General Studies - 100 Marks). Phase-II: Paper I and Paper II based on post specification. Document Verification.
4. Core Syllabus & Key Subjects
General Studies (History, Geography, Economy, General Science up to Class 10), Agricultural Botany & Entomology, Basic Accounting, and Reasoning Abilities.
