Full Form of LDC

1. Official Mandate, Scope & Background

Lower Division Clerk (LDC), also designated as Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), is the frontline ministerial entry cadre in central ministries and state secretariats handling file movements, diary entries, and computer data processing.

2. Eligibility Criteria, Qualifications & Age Limits

12th Standard or equivalent passed from a recognized board. Minimum typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer. Age limit: 18 to 27 years.

3. Examination Scheme & Selection Procedure

Computer-Based Written Examination followed by mandatory Typing Skill Test and Document Verification.

4. Core Syllabus & Key Subjects

General Intelligence, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness.
