1. Official Mandate, Scope & Background

Lekhpal is a critical grassroots administrative officer in the state revenue department responsible for land records maintenance (Khasra-Khatauni), crop surveys, land consolidation (Chakbandi), and reporting disaster damages at village cluster levels.

2. Eligibility Criteria, Qualifications & Age Limits

Intermediate (10+2) from a recognized board, valid score in UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET), and mandatory computer literacy. Age: 18 to 40 years.

3. Examination Scheme & Selection Procedure

Shortlisting on the basis of UPSSSC PET percentile, followed by Lekhpal Mains Written Examination (100 Questions, 100 Marks) and Document Verification.

General Hindi (25 Marks), Mathematics (25 Marks), General Knowledge (25 Marks), and Rural Society & Development / Gramin Parivesh (25 Marks).
