1. Official Mandate, Scope & Background

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) is the statutory recruitment authority constituted by the Haryana Government to conduct recruitments for Group 'C' and Group 'D' posts in state departments, boards, and autonomous corporations.

2. Eligibility Criteria, Qualifications & Age Limits

Common Eligibility Test (CET): 10th pass for Group D; 10+2 or Graduation for Group C. Candidate must have Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matriculation. Age: 18 to 42 years.

3. Examination Scheme & Selection Procedure

Stage 1: Common Eligibility Test (CET) score. Stage 2: Post-specific Mains written exam (for Group C) or direct merit allocation (Group D). Socio-economic criteria verification.

4. Core Syllabus & Key Subjects

General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, and Haryana State Specific Knowledge (25% weightage).
