The Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is a prestigious national research award offered to top merit-ranking candidates in UGC NET and CSIR NET examinations. Awardees receive monthly government stipends to pursue Ph.D. research in recognized universities and national laboratories.
2. Eligibility Criteria, Qualifications & Age Limits
Master's degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD). Upper Age Limit: 30 years as of the first day of the examination month (with up to 5 years relaxation for reserved categories and women applicants).
